It's a straightforward, collaborative process tailored to each client. It starts with an enquiry and consultation — we talk through your goals, your brand, and what you need the site to do. From there we put together a custom quote.
Once you're on board, we move into build — pulling together your content, designing the structure, and building the site. You'll get the chance to review and request changes before we finalise everything.
At handover you'll receive a personalised manual so you can make basic updates yourself. And if you ever need more technical help, we're always here — whether that's a one-off fix or ongoing maintenance.
From the day we have all your content — a straightforward website typically takes around 14 days. More complex builds — ecommerce, booking integrations, multi-page structures — usually take around 4 weeks.
The most common cause of delays is waiting on content from clients. The faster you can get us your text, images and any existing materials, the faster your site will be live.
If you have an existing website, we can often download and repurpose your current content as a starting point — updating and reorganising it into a fresh structure. If you're starting from scratch, we'll need your text, images, logo, and any brand guidelines you have.
Don't worry if your content isn't perfectly polished — we work with what you've got, and our copywriting service can fill any gaps if needed. We'll organise everything into a wireframe for your approval before building begins.
Every project is quoted individually based on its scope, complexity and timeline. We don't publish fixed pricing because a simple portfolio site and a full ecommerce platform with booking integrations are very different propositions.
What we can promise is that our quotes are transparent and tailored — you'll know exactly what you're getting and why it costs what it does. Get in touch and we'll put together a custom quote at no obligation.
Absolutely — there are no geographical limits. We work with clients across Australia and beyond, entirely remotely. All communication happens via email, video call and shared documents — the same quality of work, wherever you are.
We have extensive experience working with remote and regional organisations, including Gulf Country Indigenous communities, local government bodies, and Queensland National Parks. If anything, working remotely has made us very good at clear communication and keeping projects on track without face-to-face meetings.
Yes — every client receives a personalised manual at handover that walks you through making basic updates: editing text, swapping images, adding new content. Squarespace is designed to be user-friendly, and we make sure you're set up to use it confidently.
For anything more technical — structural changes, new integrations, design updates — we're always available to help. Many clients prefer to leave the technical side to us entirely, which is absolutely fine too.
Yes. We offer ongoing management and maintenance for clients who prefer to hand over the technical side entirely. This can include regular content updates, performance monitoring, analytics reporting, SEO optimisation, and keeping your site current as your business evolves.
We can also provide one-off support whenever you need it — no retainer required.
We're a boutique studio — which means every project gets Jayne's direct attention, not a junior team member working from a template. There's no account manager between you and the person actually building your site.
We also bring both web design and graphic design under one roof — so if you need a logo, a menu, a brochure or a brand identity alongside your website, it's all handled with the same eye and the same understanding of your brand.
And we have a genuine track record across a very wide range of clients — from conservation charities and Indigenous communities to tourism operators, restaurants, and national government organisations.
Every project starts with brand first — understanding who you are, who your audience is, and what feeling your site needs to create. From there we think about structure and flow — how people will move through the site and what we want them to do.
Then comes the detail: typography, colour, imagery, spacing — the things that separate a beautiful site from a functional one. And throughout, we're thinking about performance — load speed, mobile responsiveness, and SEO — because a site that looks great but doesn't perform isn't doing its job.
If you have existing brand guidelines, we work within them — translating your brand identity into a digital context in a way that feels consistent and considered. If you don't have a formal brand system, we'll develop one as part of the project.
Colour and typography aren't decorative choices — they communicate personality and build trust. The right font pairing and colour palette can make a site feel premium, approachable, adventurous or authoritative. We choose carefully and always with your audience in mind.
Because more than 60% of web traffic now comes from mobile devices — and Google ranks mobile performance as a primary factor in search results. A site that doesn't work beautifully on a phone is losing visitors and ranking.
Every site we build is mobile-first — designed and tested on small screens before desktop, not the other way around.
SEO isn't a separate service bolted on at the end — it's built into how we design and structure every site. Page titles, headings, image alt text, site speed, mobile performance, URL structure — all of these affect how Google reads and ranks your site, and we address them all as we build.
We also set up Google Analytics and Search Console at launch so you can track how your site is performing and where your traffic is coming from.
Page speed affects both user experience and SEO, so we take it seriously. We optimise every image before upload, avoid unnecessary scripts and plugins, and make use of Squarespace's CDN (content delivery network) which serves your site from servers close to your visitors.
We also test performance on both desktop and mobile before launch using tools like Google PageSpeed Insights — and address any issues before handover.
Yes — Renegade Moss is a Squarespace Circle Gold Partner, which is awarded to designers who demonstrate a consistent track record of high-quality Squarespace builds.
What this means for you as a client: you're eligible for exclusive perks when you start a new project with us, including a 3-month extended free trial, 10% off new annual Squarespace subscriptions, discounts on Acuity Scheduling and Email Campaigns, and early access to new Squarespace features before they're publicly released.
Yes — web accessibility is something we take seriously and build into every project from the start, not as an afterthought. Jayne holds a verified certificate in Introduction to Web Accessibility from W3Cx (issued September 2025), the web standards body behind the WCAG accessibility guidelines.
In practice this means considering things like colour contrast ratios, keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, alt text, focus states and semantic HTML structure — so your site works for all users, regardless of ability or assistive technology. This is especially important for government, community and not-for-profit organisations who may have legal obligations around accessibility.
Yes — we have genuine, hands-on experience working with Indigenous community organisations across Far North Queensland, including remote Gulf Country communities, as well as local government and cultural organisations in the region.
This work requires a particular sensitivity to community consultation processes, cultural protocols, and the practical realities of working remotely with organisations that may have limited digital infrastructure. We approach every project with respect, patience, and a genuine commitment to delivering work that serves the community.
We also have experience with Queensland National Parks and other regional government bodies — so if your project involves navigating bureaucratic processes or working within government communication frameworks, we're well versed in that too.
Yes — we produce interactive flipbooks using FlipHTML5, a professional platform that transforms designed publications into immersive, page-turning digital experiences. These work beautifully for hotel and resort compendiums, tourism destination guides, digital magazine editions, educational books and corporate presentations.
Unlike a static PDF, a flipbook can be shared via a private link, embedded in a website, or password protected for exclusive distribution — making them ideal for luxury hospitality and tourism clients who want polished, shareable materials without the cost and lead time of print.
Every publication is designed from scratch to reflect your brand at the highest level — not just a converted PDF, but a considered layout with typography and imagery that does justice to the quality of your property or product.
We're always happy to have a no-obligation chat about your project before you commit to anything.
